And for our local plant enthusiasts, we go the extra mile with local delivery to make things even easier. Plus, we offer the added perk of potting your plants in-store for a shorter, stress-free journey to their new home. Wondering if you need to repot your plant?
Even though we do our best to ensure your plant arrives in perfect condition, it might experience some stress during its journey. But don’t worry—we use specialized packaging to minimize stress as much as possible. When your plant arrives, it can take a couple of weeks for it to acclimate to its new home. You might notice some changes during this period, but that’s perfectly normal. Just keep caring for your plant as needed, and it will flourish in no time. You can definitely keep your plant in the planter you chose when it arrives. If your plant comes in its nursery pot, let it settle in for about two weeks before deciding to repot it into a new planter. This adjustment period helps your plant adapt to your home’s unique environment. Remember, whether you keep it in the nursery pot or move it to a new pot, your plant will appreciate the care and attention. Feel free to experiment and find what works best for you and your green buddy!
What if my plant shows up and looks more “meh” than “marvelous”?

Sometimes, plants need a bit of time to settle into their new home—whether it's your cozy living room or your bustling office.To help it bounce back from its travels, give it a little TLC by trimming away any bruised or bent leaves. Live plants can vary in color, texture, and size. While we do our best to showcase our potted plants as accurately as possible, there might be some charming differences from what you see online. One of our claims to fame is our top-notch customer service! If you want to handpick your plant (even from afar), we offer video chat options to give you the feel of shopping in-store from anywhere. For our local plant enthusiasts, you can book an appointment to discuss your specific wants and needs, or simply swing by anytime to visit us in person.
Shipping 101
Shipping timeframes begin once your order is fulfilled (aka packed with care and leafy precision). To keep your plant looking its best, we only ship at the start of the week—Monday through Wednesday, depending on your destination. This helps avoid weekend delays and keeps your new green buddy from sitting in a truck too long. If you're in a remote area, the Atlantic provinces (PEI, NB, NS, NL), or the Territories (YT, NU, NWT), higher shipping charges may apply based on carrier rates. Go ahead and place your order as usual—we’ll follow up with available shipping options for you to choose from. Prefer to know ahead of time? Reach out to our team and we’ll happily quote you before you order. Ordering multiple large plants or anything that tips the scale? Heavier or oversized orders can also affect shipping costs. We’ll send you tailored options once the order is in, or feel free to contact us beforehand for a custom solution. Some remote areas in Canada may come with significantly higher shipping costs. In these cases, our standard flat rate doesn’t apply. If additional fees are needed, we’ll contact you to confirm whether you’d like to proceed or cancel. If we don’t hear back within 48 hours, your order will be automatically canceled. We reserve the right to update or modify this policy at any time without notice.
