Sun Requirements ▾
Prefers bright, indirect light to bring out the boldest color contrasts. Avoid direct sun, which can scorch the leaves, and low light, which may dull its variegation.
Watering Instructions ▾
Keep soil consistently moist but not soggy. Water when the top 1 inch of soil feels dry. Reduce watering slightly in cooler months, but don’t let it dry out completely.
Care Tips ▾
Soil:
Thrives in a light, well-draining soil mix—use potting soil with added perlite or orchid bark to improve drainage and root aeration.
Fertilizer:
Feed every 2–4 weeks during spring and summer with a balanced liquid fertilizer to support vibrant foliage and healthy growth. Skip feeding during winter dormancy.
Humidity:
Loves high humidity (50–70%). If the air is dry, mist regularly or use a pebble tray or humidifier to prevent browning leaf edges.
