Sun Requirements ▾
Peperomia Hope prefers bright, indirect light but can also tolerate low-light conditions. Too much direct sunlight can cause the leaves to scorch, so it’s best to place it in a spot with filtered sunlight or partial shade.
Watering Instructions ▾
Water your Peperomia Hope when the top 1-2 inches of soil feel dry to the touch. It prefers to dry out between waterings due to its semi-succulent nature, which stores water in its leaves. Overwatering can lead to root rot, so it's better to err on the side of underwatering.
Care Tips ▾
Humidity: Peperomia Hope thrives in average to high humidity levels, but it is adaptable to most indoor environments. Misting is generally unnecessary, but if your home is particularly dry, consider placing a humidifier nearby or setting the plant on a tray of water with pebbles.
Temperature: The ideal temperature range for Peperomia Hope is between 65°F to 80°F (18°C to 27°C). Avoid placing the plant in drafty areas or near heating or cooling vents, as extreme temperature changes can stress the plant.
Fertilization: Feed your Peperomia Hope with a balanced, water-soluble fertilizer diluted to half strength every 4-6 weeks during the growing season (spring and summer). Fertilization is not necessary in the fall and winter when the plant is not actively growing.
