FantAsiatic® Orange Asiatic Lily (Lilium Asiatic ‘FantAsiatic® Orange’)

FantAsiatic® Orange Asiatic Lily (Lilium Asiatic ‘FantAsiatic® Orange’)

FantAsiatic® Orange Asiatic Lily (Lilium Asiatic ‘FantAsiatic® Orange’) is a compact, floriferous perennial prized for its brilliant orange blooms, sturdy stems, and exceptional garden performance. Part of the FantAsiatic® series, this dwarf Asiatic lily offers all the beauty of traditional lilies in a more compact form, making it ideal for containers, small gardens, borders, and patio displays.

In early to mid-summer, vibrant orange flowers emerge above lush green foliage, creating a bold splash of colour in the landscape. The upward-facing blooms provide excellent visual impact and attract pollinators such as bees and butterflies. Their vivid orange colouring pairs beautifully with blue, purple, yellow, and white flowering perennials, creating eye-catching seasonal combinations.

FantAsiatic® Orange develops a neat, upright habit with strong stems that typically require little or no staking. Its compact size makes it especially valuable for container gardens and smaller landscape spaces where larger lilies may be overwhelming. The flowers also make excellent cut blooms, bringing bright summer colour indoors.

In Alberta, FantAsiatic® Orange performs exceptionally well thanks to its excellent cold hardiness and reliable return year after year.

Sun Requirements ▾

Full sun to part sun. Plant in a location receiving at least 6 hours of direct sunlight daily for optimal flowering and sturdy stem development. In Alberta, full sun encourages the heaviest bloom production and strongest flower colour. Light afternoon shade is tolerated, particularly in warmer locations.

Watering Instructions ▾

Moderate. Water regularly during active growth and flowering. Maintain evenly moist soil without allowing it to become waterlogged. Established plants tolerate short dry periods but bloom best with consistent moisture.

Care Tips ▾

Plant bulbs in well-drained soil and avoid areas where water may collect during winter. Remove spent flowers after blooming, but leave foliage intact until it naturally yellows to help strengthen the bulb for future seasons.
