Sun Requirements ▾

This plant adapts well to a wide range of lighting conditions, from low light to bright indirect light. While Lucky ZZ (Wide Leaf) can tolerate low-light environments, brighter indirect light encourages stronger growth and fuller foliage. Direct sunlight should be avoided, as prolonged exposure can scorch the leaves.

Watering Instructions ▾

Watering should be done only when the soil has dried out almost completely. Lucky ZZ (Wide Leaf) is highly drought tolerant due to its thick rhizomes and fleshy stems, and overwatering is the most common cause of issues. Excess moisture can lead to root or rhizome rot. During the winter months, watering should be reduced significantly, as the plant requires very little water when growth slows.

Care Tips ▾

ZZ Plant ‘Lucky Wide Leaf’ prefers a well-draining potting mix, such as a cactus or aroid blend with added perlite. It thrives in average indoor humidity and stable temperatures between 18–29°C. Avoid overwatering and ensure proper drainage.
