Watering Instructions ▾

Low. Water regularly during establishment, allowing the soil to dry somewhat between waterings. Once established, Munstead English Lavender is drought tolerant and generally performs better under slightly dry conditions than in consistently moist soil. Avoid frequent shallow watering and waterlogged conditions.

Care Tips ▾

Excellent drainage is one of the most important requirements for successfully growing English Lavender, particularly through winter. Avoid heavy, consistently wet soil and locations where water collects around the crown. Lightly trim plants after flowering to maintain a dense, attractive shape, but avoid cutting deeply into old woody stems that may not readily produce new growth.
