Northern Acclaim® Thornless Honeylocust (Gleditsia triacanthos) is a hardy, fast-growing shade tree selected for its improved cold tolerance and upright growth habit. This thornless variety features fine-textured, fern-like foliage that creates light, filtered shade, making it ideal for lawns, patios, and urban landscapes.

The foliage emerges green in spring, providing a soft, airy canopy that allows grass and other plants to grow beneath it. In fall, the leaves turn a bright yellow before dropping cleanly, making seasonal maintenance easier.
