Sun Requirements ▾
Place the planted microgreen grow cups in a bright location with plenty of natural light. A bright windowsill or location receiving strong, indirect light is ideal for supporting healthy green growth.
Gentle direct sunlight can be beneficial, but monitor moisture carefully because sunny windows can cause the small growing cups to dry more quickly. Avoid excessively hot locations where the seedlings or growing medium dry too rapidly.
Watering Instructions ▾
Place one coco coir growing disc into each grow cup and add approximately 1/4 cup of water to allow the disc to expand. Use the included mixing stick to loosen and fluff the hydrated growing medium before planting.
After sowing, keep the coco coir consistently moist but not waterlogged. Mist or water lightly as needed and check the cups regularly, as small growing containers can dry relatively quickly. Avoid leaving the growing medium saturated or allowing standing water to accumulate.

Microgreens grow quickly and perform best with consistent moisture, plenty of light, comfortable indoor temperatures, and good airflow. Once planted, check the individual grow cups regularly and maintain even moisture as the seeds germinate and develop.
Because the kit contains five different varieties, radish, kale, arugula, basil, and broccoli may germinate and develop at different rates. Monitor each mini garden individually and harvest each variety when it reaches the desired stage rather than expecting all five to be ready at exactly the same time.
