Proven Winners® Double Play Dolly® Spirea (Spiraea japonica ‘Double Play Dolly®’) is a compact deciduous shrub known for its vibrant foliage colour and abundant clusters of bright pink flowers. New growth emerges with warm red and orange tones before maturing to rich green, creating multi-season interest even before flowering begins.

In late spring to early summer, the shrub becomes covered in vivid pink flower clusters that attract butterflies and pollinators while adding bold colour to the landscape. Its naturally rounded, tidy growth habit makes it ideal for borders, foundation plantings, mass plantings, and low-maintenance landscapes. The colourful foliage continues to provide ornamental value throughout the growing season.

In Alberta, Double Play Dolly® performs exceptionally well in full sun and adapts to a wide range of soil conditions. It is cold-hardy, drought-tolerant once established, and requires very little maintenance, making it an excellent choice for Prairie landscapes and urban gardens.
