Watering Instructions ▾
Allow the soil to dry out completely between waterings. Water thoroughly, allowing excess moisture to drain away completely. Reduce watering during the fall and winter months when growth slows. Overwatering is the most common cause of root rot.

Plant in a fast-draining cactus or succulent soil mix using a container with drainage holes. Wipe dust from the leaves occasionally to maximize light absorption, but avoid rubbing off the natural powdery coating that helps protect the foliage. Repot only when the plant becomes rootbound.
