Betterbuzz® ‘Amarillo’ Hyssop (Agastache aurantiaca) is a compact, pollinator-friendly perennial known for its vibrant orange tubular flowers and aromatic foliage. This variety produces upright flower spikes that bloom continuously from early summer through fall, attracting bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds.

Selected for improved branching, flower density, and garden performance, Betterbuzz® Amarillo forms a tidy, mounded plant that works well in containers, borders, and pollinator gardens. Its bright blooms provide strong colour contrast while its lightly scented foliage adds additional interest.

In Alberta, Agastache aurantiaca varieties are typically grown as short-lived perennials or treated as annuals depending on winter conditions. They perform best in warm, sunny locations with excellent drainage and are well-suited to Prairie climates when properly sited.
