Sun Requirements ▾

Full sun is required for strong growth and abundant flowering. Provide at least 6–8 hours of direct sunlight daily. Insufficient light will reduce bloom production and may cause leggy growth.

Watering Instructions ▾

Water regularly during establishment. Once mature, marigolds tolerate moderate dryness but perform best with consistent moisture during active growth. Avoid saturated soil conditions, as excessive moisture may lead to root issues.

Care Tips ▾

Brocade Marigolds grow best in well-draining soil and tolerate average fertility levels. They prefer stable warm temperatures and moderate outdoor humidity. Good air circulation supports healthy foliage and helps prevent disease. Excessively rich soil may encourage foliage growth at the expense of blooms. Direct sow Brocade Marigold seeds outdoors after the final frost once soil temperatures have warmed, or start indoors 4–6 weeks before transplanting. Seeds germinate best in soil temperatures between 18–24°C. Plants begin flowering in approximately 50–60 days and continue blooming until frost. Regular deadheading encourages prolonged flowering.
