Sun Requirements ▾

Full sun. Provide at least 6 hours of direct sunlight each day for dense growth, rich foliage colouring, and abundant flowering. Strong sunlight helps develop the characteristic smoky blue-purple foliage and supports a compact habit. Light partial shade may be tolerated, but excessive shade can result in greener foliage, weaker growth, and fewer flowers.

Watering Instructions ▾

Low. Water regularly but sparingly during the first growing season while plants establish their root systems, allowing the soil to dry somewhat between waterings. Once established, Dazzleberry is highly drought tolerant and generally requires supplemental watering only during extended periods of hot, dry weather. Avoid persistently wet or waterlogged soil.

Care Tips ▾

Plant in well-draining soil and avoid locations where water collects around the roots or crown. Dazzleberry requires little fertilizer and generally performs best without overly rich soil. Remove old flower stems and damaged foliage during spring cleanup as fresh growth begins. Established plants can be divided if they become overcrowded. A moisture meter is a great way to gauge your plant's moisture levels.
