Parkland Pillar® Birch (Betula platyphylla ‘Jefpark’)

Parkland Pillar® Birch (Betula platyphylla ‘Jefpark’) is a narrow, columnar birch tree selected for its upright growth habit, bright white bark, and strong cold hardiness. This compact tree offers the classic beauty of birch in a space-saving form, making it well-suited for smaller landscapes and urban plantings.

Its dense, vertical canopy is composed of green leaves that provide light shade in summer and turn yellow in fall. The striking white bark becomes more prominent as the tree matures, adding year-round visual interest.

Developed for Prairie climates, Parkland Pillar® birch is adapted to Alberta conditions and performs well in colder regions when planted in suitable sites. Its narrow shape makes it ideal for lining driveways, planting in tight spaces, or creating vertical accents in landscape designs.
