Periwinkle Illumination (vinca minor)

Periwinkle ‘Illumination’ (Vinca minor ‘Illumination’) is a striking variegated groundcover prized for its brilliant golden-yellow foliage, vibrant blue flowers, and vigorous spreading habit. This unique selection offers much more colour than traditional periwinkle varieties, brightening shaded areas with luminous foliage throughout the growing season.

The narrow leaves feature bright golden centres surrounded by deep green margins, creating a dramatic contrast that stands out in woodland gardens, shaded borders, and underplantings. In spring and often intermittently throughout summer, cheerful violet-blue flowers appear above the foliage, adding another layer of colour and seasonal interest.
