Coarse Perlite is best for plants that require excellent drainage and airflow, such as succulents, cacti, and drought-tolerant varieties. Its larger particles prevent waterlogging and help maintain a loose, breathable soil structure. Mix ½ cup of coarse perlite into every 2 cups of dense soil, use it as a drainage layer in planters, or place 1–2 cups in a propagation tray for rooting cuttings.

Fine Perlite, on the other hand, is ideal for seed starting, germination, and young plants with sensitive roots. Its smaller texture retains gentle moisture while ensuring healthy airflow—perfect for propagation trays, seed-starting blends, and potting soils designed for delicate cuttings.

Packaged in a 3-liter bag (enough to fill approximately five 4" pots and one 6" pot), Perlite is a non-toxic, peat-free, and natural soil enhancer that supports vigorous root growth and long-term plant health. For best results, rinse before use to remove dust and store in a cool, dry place between applications.
