Phalaenopsis Orchid Kokedama and Stand

Phalaenopsis Orchid Kokedama and Stand

Phalaenopsis Orchid Kokedama with Stand combines the elegance of a blooming orchid with the traditional Japanese art of moss-wrapped planting. The roots are encased in a compact ball of growing medium and moss, creating a sculptural, soil-free presentation. Paired with a display stand, this arrangement elevates the plant visually while offering a refined and contemporary aesthetic.

Phalaenopsis orchids are known for their long-lasting blooms and graceful arching flower spikes. The kokedama format highlights the plant’s natural form while minimizing visual clutter from traditional pots. This style is ideal for modern interiors, offering a clean and artistic plant display.

Phalaenopsis Orchid Kokedama with Stand is valued for both its ornamental blooms and unique presentation. It serves as a decorative focal point for tabletops, shelves, and curated indoor spaces.

Sun Requirements ▾

Place your kokedama orchid in bright, indirect light. East- or west-facing windows are ideal, while filtered southern light works well. Avoid direct afternoon sun, which can burn the leaves. Consistent indirect light encourages healthy growth and reblooming.

Watering Instructions ▾

Watering a kokedama is different than a potted orchid. Submerge the moss ball in room-temperature water for 10–15 minutes once the moss begins to feel light and dry—usually every 5–7 days, depending on your environment. Allow it to fully drain before returning it to the stand. In drier conditions or during active blooming, watering may be needed more often. Never leave the moss ball sitting in water, as this can cause root rot.

Care Tips ▾

Phalaenopsis Orchid Kokedama prefers a well-aerated moss-based medium that allows roots to breathe. It thrives in moderate humidity and stable indoor temperatures between 18–27°C. Ensure good air circulation and avoid placing it near drafts or heat sources.
