Sun Requirements ▾

Thrives in bright, indirect light. Avoid direct midday sun, which can scorch its textured leaves. Tolerates lower light, but growth will be slower and foliage less vibrant. Ideal placement: near an east- or north-facing window, or a few feet back from a bright south- or west-facing window.

Watering Instructions ▾

Keep soil consistently moist but not soggy. Water when the top 1 inch of soil feels slightly dry. Reduce watering frequency in winter when growth slows. Always ensure the pot has good drainage to prevent root rot.

Care Tips ▾

Use a well-draining, peat-based potting mix with perlite for aeration. Feed with a balanced liquid houseplant fertilizer every 4–6 weeks during spring and summer. No fertilizer needed in fall and winter.
