Sun Requirements ▾

Full sun. Provide at least 6 hours of direct sunlight each day for dense, compact growth and abundant flowering. Pink Chintz performs particularly well in warm, sunny locations when drainage is excellent. Too much shade can produce thinner growth and fewer flowers.

Watering Instructions ▾

Low. Water regularly during establishment while allowing the soil to dry somewhat between waterings. Once established, Pink Chintz Creeping Thyme is drought tolerant and generally requires supplemental watering only during prolonged periods of hot, dry weather. Avoid consistently wet or waterlogged soil.

Care Tips ▾

Plant in well-draining soil and avoid overly rich or heavily fertilized conditions. Creeping Thyme performs especially well in sandy, gravelly, or rocky soils. Lightly trim plants after flowering if necessary to maintain a dense, tidy carpet and encourage fresh growth. Established plants can tolerate occasional light foot traffic but are not suitable for heavily travelled pathways. A moisture meter is a great way to gauge your plant's moisture levels.
