Proven Winners® Rise Up Emberays® Climbing Rose (Rosa x ‘Rise Up Emberays®’)

Proven Winners® Rise Up Emberays® Climbing Rose (Rosa x ‘Rise Up Emberays®’)

Proven Winners® Rise Up Emberays® Climbing Rose (Rosa x ‘Rise Up Emberays®’) is a vigorous climbing rose known for its rich orange to ember-toned blooms and excellent repeat flowering performance. This striking rose produces clusters of semi-double flowers throughout the growing season, bringing bold colour and vertical interest to trellises, fences, arbors, and garden walls.

The warm orange blooms create a dramatic focal point in the landscape and contrast beautifully with the glossy dark green foliage. Unlike many traditional climbing roses, the Rise Up® series is bred for improved disease resistance and cold hardiness, making it easier to grow in Canadian climates. Its climbing habit allows gardeners to maximize vertical garden space while creating lush floral coverage.

In Alberta, Rise Up Emberays® performs best in full sun with well-drained soil and adequate air circulation. Winter protection is beneficial in colder Prairie regions, particularly for exposed planting sites. With proper support and seasonal pruning, this climbing rose provides reliable reblooming colour and strong landscape impact.

Excellent for trellises, fences, pergolas, arbors, pillars, privacy screens, cottage gardens, rose gardens, and vertical landscape accents. Performs best in fertile, organically rich, well-drained soil with good air circulation. In colder Alberta locations, provide winter protection by mulching the base and protecting canes from drying winter winds.
