Watering Instructions ▾

Low to moderate. Water consistently during the first growing season to establish a strong root system. Once established, Rainbow Rhythm® ‘Ruby Spider’ Daylily tolerates periods of drought, although regular moisture during bud development and flowering encourages the largest flowers and strongest display.

Care Tips ▾

Remove spent flower stalks after blooming to maintain a clean appearance. Allow the foliage to remain until it naturally yellows in fall, then cut it back or remove old foliage during spring cleanup. Divide mature clumps every few years if plants become overcrowded or flowering begins to decline. A moisture meter is a great way to gauge your plant's moisture levels.
