Each sachet contains a self-reproducing colony of predatory mites that feed on the young larvae of thrips and the eggs and larvae of whitefly, dispersing gradually into the crop over several weeks. Their piercing mouthparts extract and consume the contents of their prey, giving long-lasting control and balanced crop protection.
The sachets are made from 100 % biodegradable material and release mites steadily even under extreme humidity—very low or very high—making them ideal for greenhouses and controlled environments. Hang them preventively or at the first sign of pests, using the cardboard strip to avoid damaging the mites. Each sachet already has an exit hole for easy dispersal and should be placed out of direct sunlight.
Every unit holds about 250 predatory and prey mites in a bran carrier and comes in packs of 100 or 500 sachets. The product works best across a wide range of climates and moisture levels. Do not mix with broad-spectrum insecticides or miticides that could harm the beneficial mites—always verify compatibility first.
For storage, apply immediately after delivery when possible. If needed, keep sachets for 1–2 days at 10–15 °C (50–59 °F) in a dark, well-ventilated place to prevent CO₂ buildup.
