SunSparkler® Lime Zinger Stonecrop (Sedum ‘Lime Zinger’)

SunSparkler® Lime Zinger Stonecrop (Sedum ‘Lime Zinger’) is a colourful groundcover sedum known for its bright lime-green foliage edged in deep red margins. This low-growing succulent perennial creates strong visual contrast and year-round texture in rock gardens, borders, and xeriscape landscapes.

The spreading foliage forms a dense mat that suppresses weeds while adding vibrant colour to sunny planting areas. In late summer, clusters of bright pink flowers emerge above the foliage and attract pollinators including bees and butterflies. Cooler temperatures intensify the red edging, extending ornamental interest into fall.

In Alberta, Lime Zinger Stonecrop performs exceptionally well in full sun and sharply drained soil. It is extremely drought-tolerant once established and thrives in Prairie climates with minimal care. Its spreading habit makes it ideal for edging, rock gardens, and low-water landscaping.
